Sanchez 'agrees City deal'

 

Reports claim that Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez has agreed a deal with runaway Premier League leaders Manchester City.

Online transfer news platform 'TransferMarketWeb' reports that the Chilean has agreed a contract through to 2021 with the 'Citizens' and a salary of €13-€14m (€250,000-€270,000 per week).
City's interest in Sanchez is nothing new, with Pep Guardiola's side having seen a Deadline Day move for the player collapse when Arsenal were unable to find a replacement.
According to the aforementioned source, Sanchez will complete a move to City when the transfer window re-opens in January, with City now just needing to come to an agreement with the 'Gunners' over a fee.
There had been significant interest in Sanchez, with the likes of Real Madrid and PSG also linked with a move for the player, though it is thought that the 29-year-old was keen on staying in the Premier League and it appears that a reunion with Pep Guardiola, who he worked under at Barcelona, was too good to turn down.
