Spurs did not hold back in the clash against APOEL and Kane opened the scoring just before half-time, scoring a great goal which left Waterman with no chance.
Already in the ascendency, the England striker continued his fine run of goalscoring form and doubled his and Spurs' tally after 61 minutes. An expert cross from Moussa Sissoko was greeted by Kane, who stroked home from the edge of the area to make it 2-0.
To compound matters for the Cypriot side, the 24-year-old completed his hat-trick five minutes later with a header into the bottom corner.
Kane's clinical performance was the difference between the two sides, and the striker has scored 5 goals in Tottenham's opening two Champions League games, helping them to achieve their perfect start.
With the 3-0 victory, Tottenham have sent a message to Madrid and Dortmund that they are serious contenders in this Champions League Group H.
