From Dembele... to Coutinho

Having agreed a deal for Dembele, Barcelona are hoping to do the same with Coutinho. Liverpool have proven tough to break down, but according to 'Mundo Deportivo', the Catalan side believe they are close to an agreement with the Reds.

According to the Spanish outlet, Barcelona are trying to shave off a chunk of the fee demanded for Coutinho. If Liverpool will agree is another question.
Barcelona's sensational fourth bid for the Brazilian was reported to be worth a total of £138 million, £101m up front and £37m in add-ons. The answer from the Premier ALeague outfit was loud and clear: no.
In spite of Liverpool's reluctance to sell, as reported by the previously mentioned source, Barcelona have not conceded defeat and will return to test the Reds' resolve.
If Catalan media sources are right, Coutinho will be another last-minute signing for Barcelona, after Dembele's reported deal. At this moment in time, the situation remains: the player wants to join the La Liga side, but Klopp's team have so far refused to budge.
