Tinubu speak about Buhari administration

Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, who is one of the national leader of All Progressive Congress APC , has said that the lack of performance that happen during the last government in Nigeria would not be tolerated by the present All progressive Congress led by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Tinubu said that the government was determined to reverve that old trend.
This was stated in Abuja on Tuesday when he was delivering a speech at the 8th Annual Bola Tinubu Colloquium which was organized to make his 64th years birthday anniversary.
Asiwaju said, ” The lack of government performance that has for long years been a source of pain, is no longer tolerated”.
” This government is confirmed in reversing the trend towards a positive and progressive outcome.
He said, ” We have reached the point where we can no longer look the other way because there is no longer another way.
” If we are to experience a new growth and development, we must do it ourselves. Nigerians must become Nigeria’s lifeline.
The APC led federal government was aware of the challenges the bedeviled the nation and we were working to right the wrongs of the past. Said Tinubu.
“Our path may be tough at present, but I do not entertain fear because I know our people are more resilient than the challenges we face. The historic victory of the party had placed on the government a heavy responsibility to right the wrongs of the past years, said Tinubu.
He said. ” Those who came before us believed in weak governance but but strong corruption.
” They were the authors of the malfeasance and ruthless indifference that enchained this country and its remarkable people.
” They acted as if their pilferage would never end. But it was ended by the people of this great nation.
Asiwaju said those who participated in destroying Nigeria in the past would not partake in rebuilding it because destiny does not believe in failure.
Mr Tinubu also lamented the dwelling oil prices at the international market, saying it has revealed the fragility of the economic system Nigeria operates.
He said, The workings of harsh economic reality have revealed the fragility of the economic position we have too long occupied. With the downturn in oil prices, this nation can no longer function as it did .”
Asiwaju said the APC government would soon begin implementation of all the ideals suggested about making agriculture the Nigeria’s main economic base.
He said their party had heard many excellent ideas and suggestions and that he foresaw much of what we heard will soon be implemented policy.
The All Progressive Congress APC leaders assured that the country will soon enjoy a rebirth of his vital economic sectors”.
The event was chaired by President. Muhammadu Buhari. Many dignitaries are also present at the event also friends, family, business associates and politicians are part of the guest in the event.
