Juventus confirm Cuadrado loan deal
Chelsea's Juan Cuadrado
Giuseppe Marotta has confirmed that Serie A champions Juventus have reached an agreement with Chelsea to take Juan Cuadrado on a season-long loan deal.
Cuadrado joined Chelsea from Forentina for £23.3 million but has failed to establish himself as key player for the Blues.
With the arrival of Pedro from Barcelona, it became apparent that Cuadrado was not in Jose Mourinho’s plans this season and the former Forentina man has now agreed to join Juventus on loan. The Colombian is now expected to arrive in Turin in the next four hours to complete medicals ahead of the move.
Juve general director Giuseppe Marotta confirmed that the Colombia international will soon be a Bianconeri player
“There is the opportunity to sign Cuadrado and we’re going for it,” he told Mediaset Premium.
“Hopefully tomorrow we’ll close the deal, he should arrive on loan for one season.”
